goodness, its been quite awhile since i update this blog. Been busy updating, listing, cleaning all the lego MOC pieces for my upcoming exhibit ( the title, venue and dates will be announced soon ), the problem about lego is, once you touch it, you will spend hours tinkering or updating new ( simpler builts ) to achieve the desired form.  MOC means My Own Creation.    i build everything old school which requires lots of drawings and reference of actual models. I dont know how people can design it virtually. Holding unto something is different than staring on the screen. Less is more and truth to be told that the hardest one to achieve is getting the form as little bricks as much as possible. Size also matters as at times after you are satisfied with it, you tend to leave it collecting dust. at times, you simply have to step back, reflect and simply take a decision. Its just way too bad when an organization built and designed to serve the deserving poor, not forgetting that it's ( funded ) by people's money is handled miserably.  Its a huge responsibility when you are running an entity fueled by public trust and money.  When the operation and direction trying to prove more than it's worth, they are now in a bloody ambitious mess ( not forgetting that costs of running it turning bigger coupled with hiring and employment of the right talents ). What is the need to open more state chapters when when you dont serve your main objectives. Is there a steady list of justifications for these?  Its very annoying when "people" simply don't know how and practice the concept of simplicity. Confession - i have soft spot for Star Trek. After Mickey Mouse purchased Star Wars from Lucasfilm, i found their next move is predictable - they need to cash in their purchase as much as possible with releasing a new trilogy, mini-series and more so they have a younger fan base to finance it. The one who got Jar Jar Binks are now in their mid 20's, so let's introduce Rey and Kylo for the millennial babies and amateur and part time poseurs. anyway enough talking of heartbreaks and disappointments.   Star Trek the Voyage Home is my favorite, where they need to transport a whale to correct their timeline, using a Klingon ship, JJ Abrahms Star Trek reboot is so entertaining as it looks and sounds like A New Hope. Personally I don't buy Trek toys. Since i always dig the objective rationale driven Vulcan, who despise human error and liking for random crap, i need to build this using Lego pieces.
