Revisionist Meditation : Interstellar

goodness, its been quite awhile since i update this blog. Been busy updating, listing, cleaning all the lego MOC pieces for my upcoming exhibit ( the title, venue and dates will be announced soon ), the problem about lego is, once you touch it, you will spend hours tinkering or updating new ( simpler builts ) to achieve the desired form.

MOC means My Own Creation.

i build everything old school which requires lots of drawings and reference of actual models. I dont know how people can design it virtually. Holding unto something is different than staring on the screen.

Less is more and truth to be told that the hardest one to achieve is getting the form as little bricks as much as possible. Size also matters as at times after you are satisfied with it, you tend to leave it collecting dust. So much of my bigger playset dismantled to give way to the newer builds.

Anyway......enough talking. here are couple of photos of my new additional builds. Since im a sci-fi fan, i will make a list of models i want. From Blade Runner to Aliens, i listed it all down. Christopher Nolan's Interstellar been bugging me for years, yes as my hands are itchy, i got down to business. The Ranger is a sleek vehicle, as usual, getting the curves and angles is such a bitch.

pardon my french........

Countless sleepless nights of tinkering and figuring out ways on how to get it. Just like editing a film, building the final form is like doing the offline editing to get the story right.

The Walking Jenga Stick - Absolute honesty isn't always the most diplomatic nor the safest form of communication with emotional beings.

delicate angles of sleepless nights....2023

dont build stuffs at night.....
