in the age of social media notably Instagram or whatever - everyone wants to be "famous" or unashamedly call themselves "talented" or "critical" when their work is simply "passable below average".

Yapping away - they tend write long essays worst oversell themselves. Its not surprising they have many followers. Everyone have a "herd" mentality as their brain and taste is like a dessert goat.

Posting past previous "achievements" doesnt help as their work simply basked in the same familiar territories, presentation and expression of thoughts.

I admit, i have nihilistic tendencies of not "unfriending" these dumb delusional pricks but will pop in to see what sort of nonsense they create. Its not surprising to see that these fools simply circling in the same old issues.

Let me introduce two great artists who hide in complete anonymity - yet their work move and shakes the whole fucking world. Their aura is being invisible in plain sight, being anonymous yet present.

Daft Punk and Banksy

If you take a look at Daft Punk's whole seminal discography, their albums is simply a documented track of their progression and maturity of documenting the lost art of music arrangements and production design and values.

They hit another gold mine when they released Get Lucky.

nobody knows Banksy until today.

at least you need 3 people to pull off this stunt.

Is he an individual, a collective, a phantom organization or financed by an institution? Mind you, seeing his body of works, its organized chaos and its not easy to pull it off. Banksy's statement can be huge or small and how it's been pulled off is simply a mystery.

Nobody knows yet we have people claimed that they know Banksy.

Simply notorious, unpredictable, naughty and testing the limits of every convention, Banksy installed a secret paper shredder and immediately switched on when the work hit an agreeable price in the auction.
