expect nothing, seek nothing, grasp nothing - lines taken from japanese poets as usual normal people will expect something , seek something and grasp whatever they want to get. Attaching to something is the basis of all suffering. Do we need to add more suffering in our lives, please bear in mind we already HAVE to endure old age, sickness and ultimately death. Bangang kan?

written by Cicero 43 BC ( he is a politician too ) we as usual human beings likes to be distracted.....well of course, people are glued to their smart phones, watching cat videos and such.....Plato's Allegory of the Cave is simply brilliant. Who controls the fire and creating shadows to make the other caveman stay glued to the wall ( distracted ) is the smart one.

Korg: I tried to start a revolution... but I didn't print enough pamphlets! Thor : Do not touch me again! Tony Stark : Then don't take my stuff. Thor : You have no idea what you are dealing with. Tony Stark : Uh, Shakespeare in The Park? Doth mother know you weareth her drapes? Thor : This is beyond you, metal man. Loki will face Asgardian justice. Thor : Have a care how you speak! Loki is beyond reason, but he is of Asgard and he is my brother! Natasha Romanoff : He killed eighty people in two days. Thor : He's adopted. Thor : I don't hang with the Avengers anymore. It all got too corporate.
Credits and Bragging

its very annoying when people put so much credits upon themselves. Cant blame them, as we are living in this social media age- everyone wants attention. Sure everyone loves credit, but what is nicer is - let the result of your actions speak for themselves. The universe always have funny ways of revealing it. a hard act to follow and to practice, that is why i always put my name lastly in every thing i did or better being anonymous. Honestly and truthfully I find it tiresome to explain everyone of what projects ive involved with. Imagine seeing 5 people - you have to tell everything AGAIN 5 times. I dont know when i begin doing this but its comforting knowing Sun Tzu wrote this Sure - Bragging requires efforts too - but does it carry any weight? Superman, Spidey didnt brag any of their efforts. What we know is all they wanted is - get the job done ASAP and head back home unto the arms of Lois Lane and Mary Jane. My late dad didn't brag/ share any of his missions - mil...

Ground Control to Major Tom

its really important for people to stay grounded and humble at all times. Such a hard practice. The problem is that the nature of praise can turn unto criticism or worst insults in any given time. The universe knows how to place you accordingly - so its absolutely no need to scream for attention, share, thumping our chests or shout for credits. its just way too bad that we live in the social media age - the age where people simply NEED to highlight whatever things they did. A temporal state where people assume that they CONNECT to everyone and with the world - but in reality is - they are totally DISCONNECTED with reality, worst themselves. p/s : do you remember what you promised 30 minutes ago, yesterday, a week ago, months ago?

flashback three years ago, where Malaysia got hit by the worst flood. I was hugged by one elderly uncle ( flood victim ) lamenting that they lost everything. Well put it objectively - of course everyone will be devastated - heartbroken when whatever they owned for the past 30 - 40 years wiped away in a single day.... I consoled him and said that " what is most important NOW is you are still ALIVE", the uncle gave me a smile. Hugged me harder. Flashback to 2009 i broke my left leg in a bad accident, waking up in the hospital feeling down and depressed. My dad visited me, said " MOVE ON - Things happened - No point feeling this way" That word WOKE me up from everything. You are awesome dad. most of the time - we human beings will never get away ( embroiled ) from any emotional entanglements and whatsoever - but sometimes we just need simple words that enable to wake us up and move on. Move and do what is needed, rather than stuck in the past ...
Walk the Walk - Talk the Talk

its interesting to observe why people are selfish. its in their DNA. Its their nature - Strange - seeing that they know how to find food when they are hungry, find the nearest toilet to dump their shit. They know what to do and do it alone. But there are people who likes to dump their shit to others to carry. Selfishness raised as they unable to put themselves in other people's shoes as they are not capable. Being the brat, the spoilt child, the diva is such a pain the arse. Worst is they KNOW how to find people and share the shit without any motivations. sometimes people already have enough shit of their own. Of course its easy to see other's fault except themselves, to criticize worst commenting but WHEN shit hits the fan - they will pretend that nothing happened , worst walk away rather than dealing and solving the problem.....hilarious. life is easier when we SOLVE things and MOVE on....no, they like to reminisce all those days of glory....memories that...

Back in the 1940's - Alfred Hitchcock was making Lifeboats, and because the entire movie takes place in a very small boat adrift in the sea, he asked -"where the music coming from?" The Composer responded " the same place you set the camera". - George Lucas in honoring John Williams in AFI Achievement Award

now finally after waiting for years, Blade Runner is released. I dont think it will rake in billions of bucks like Disney's product as its not tailored for general audiences. What i loved the most are the way its handled, its like a visiting the mecca, the sistine chapel or seeing back the re-furbished Last Supper fresco. The story is brilliant, languid and takes time organically, it lets audience to settle in as they are so used to montages, fast cut, Fast Five set pieces, Bayhem explosions and instant noodles. Anyway - here are the plot. a) replicants ( A.I ) able to reproduce - its a big thing. For the replicants, it's a miracle and they hide it coz the world will go bonkers if they know that robots able to bear a baby. b ) Rachael died giving birth, so Deckard and company need to hide the baby. Due to this, they manipulated records stating that Racheal bears twins ( a boy and a girl ) instead - made Officer K ( Ryan Gosling ) confused and thought he is Deckard's...

i took a complete break from everything - yes that includes leaving my mind behind. While resting in Melaka, my eldest brother gave me Preacher and Narcos to binge upon. While Narcos expanded to the Cali Cartel, its finale lacks a solid punch. Preacher - in the first season, its pretty bloated, inconsistent and messy ( cant blame them as they need to start somewhere, have so much to tell to audiences - there are notable inventive scenes especially with Deblanc and Fiore battling with The Seraphim ) With only 10 episodes for season 1, they got an extra 3 episodes for season two. In season 2 - there are ups and downs, they should just trim down Tulip's traumatic breakdown and those Eugene/Hitler Hell scenario, Jesse looking for the gun number -it just drags the momentum....The highlights in season 2 is Herr Starr. My stomach hurts like hell everytime. Its gold. Pure gold. Seth Rogen and company ( had so much fun ) pushing the lines, going above those speed limits ...
