unlike paintings where you are given a single frame and audience required to see the whole story and such, film is an outstanding storytelling medium, where you have the ability to manipulate the concept of time. I have to admit - The American Realists by Andrew Wyeth and Edward Hopper's works trained me hard and good in composing of what you want to say. alot of people love to live in a state of denial. The truth appears in many forms. The problem is you simply have to wake up, open your eyes and see what is REAL and what is NOT .  so, can your materials accumulated in your living hall, your bank account, the car that you drive represent the real YOU? The state of denial can be in many forms - such as material achievement, material status, sexuality and so on. When the majority say  or approves to a loud YES to a lie, it will become a truth. however the truth is not subjected to a FACT . at times, you can find yourself waking up in the middle of the night - thinking and analyzing all the choices you made in your life and seeing where you are NOW. Is it worth it?  at times, we will be surrounded by "adults" or a system that encourage us to be like them. But again, we are the ones who will live our lives. Not them. Not others.  We have countless choice to make, so might as well we choose options that able to lead us to who we want to BE.  Academic achievement?  Material achievement? Spiritual achievement? The word and status of "achievement" is simply a system,a mechanism to create oneself to feel good or make them feel something. The achievement simply can be in a title format such as Datoship, Tan Sri, high pension or whatever. But again, in all matter of fairness, its subjective. Every sensitivities and holistic sentiments thrown out from the window.    sure times are tough these days as unemployment racked up, inflation rates shoots up thru the roof while our unelected clowns ( making up a bloated govt machinery ) not doing anything except taking home their fat salary and allowances. ( will write more of these when i have time ) for the ignorant ones -Hari Raya is the time where everyone comes back to their home, after a successful trial of fasting , seeking forgiveness  ( physically and spiritually ) and then proceed to start the new year.  This is the best part, one of the actors went to the media, mentioned that he and the rest have a "concern" after they found out that they have to sing a song in the ad. So technically they took up a job by not knowing what they need to do...... they proceeded anyway. so end of story.
