Jargon and Helicpter

Lets talk about helicopter, there is one Datuk landed his helicopter to grab 36 packs of Nasi Ganja in Ipoh.

The Jargon

Netizens labelled him "Mat Jargon". Fond of using incomprehensible sentences and unashamed projected himself as an "intellectual" - ultimately he became a joke. Forget reading and understand his comments, might as well you go and read any Noam Chomsky's book.

While Malaysians waited KWSP's approval, another emergency news announced ( no more election ) as Covid cases still hovering at 3 to 4 digit numbers, Mat Jargon appeared from nowhere and brought and idea on how to boost our national economy.

First and foremost he is not an economist. Our backdoor Minister letting us to bail out our own savings to save our ass with EPF withdrawal. ( Trust me, soon the KWSP CEO will complaint that Malaysians will not have enough money to save themselves rather than finding ways to beef up the drying coffers. )

so BFM invited Jargon - who is a Deputy Minister of Sports to talk about economy - but on the positive side the whole Malaysia got to know a term called "helicopter money"

Mat Jargon asked Bank Negara to print more money to be distributed and insists that these wont lead to inflation. Inflation occurs as there are not enough goods and money to be distributed upon - so it need to be stabilized.

These happen when you have country where the majority of the population have NO or LESS buying power.

The ones that asks for DISCOUNT.

Technically its borrowing its own currency.

I shall borrow from myself.

If i borrow from someone - someone will give me terms and conditions when to pay it back. What happened when i borrow from myself?

What are the terms and conditions?

Could they pay their debts using cows, vegetables, tomato or 3 kuali of rendang?

when we play Monopoly, someone loses when they have no more money to pay up or worst Bankrupt...imagine the player decided to print his own money to continue the game.

The economists all over the town poke fun at his idea.

One of them highlighted moral hazard issue.

Moral Hazard la konon - loosely translated - Its simply saying that i dont have to work to earn money. Well truth to be told, politicians not doing anything and still got paid.

money is simply a medium of transaction.

The question is defining the value. Here we dont value the contribution of an individual, we prefer to hire someone who is cheaper. Hence - we have foreigners flooding the labour market.

Giving out cash via helicopter or by a jet wont solve this terminal issue.

Zoo Negara appeared again, complaining that they have no enough fund. Donating something wont solve this issue. So kindly close it down - release the animals.

Simply put, why on earth our nation dont have enough products?

As every business and distribution is monopolized - the citizens simply turned or forced unto a lazy consumerist. The nation have nothing to offer as all business registered loss rather than profit. Someone who earn a monthly salary is asked to be a speaker in an entrepreneur seminar.

Being an entrepreneur here means you have a mummy and daddy who willing to fund your fantasy.

Everyone lined up for Ikea meatballs, throwing more to own an Ikea for their living hall right to the toilet. Fuck those rattan furnitures as its so kampung shit, lets buy plastic instead.

Then you have friends who appeared at your shows asking for discounts under the pretext of "supporting" the arts.

Ikea is brilliant as we are pay something and doing all the hard work for them under the pre-text of saving the world from carbon foot print and other sustainability shit excuse.

so what we can purchase from local manufacturers?

everything now is manufactured from China.

a MYR10 t-shirt is made from Bangladesh.

even our rice is imported from Thailand.

with or without this helicopter money, seriously we are tanked.

, the circulation of money into the market needs to be balanced with the output of goods to stabilise the market's demand and supply.
