Narcos Season 2

binged on Narcos Season 2 immediately after my trip from Kg Gumbang. The second season focused more on the last days of Pablo, opened up and expand the Cali Cartel. It's inconsistent flow - jarring at times made it an uneasy experience ( just like Breaking Bad season 3 - where we get too much on Jesse, Skyler and her annoying sister and yes Walter White Jr ), cant blame them as they need to weigh in the excellent bitch Judy and the colorful Los Pepes.

 Season 1 is better as it's cohesive and it's arranged pretty well. Even though we been introduced by tons of characters esp Gustavo Gaviria ( my heart ache when he is dead in the first season ), the colorful - cartoony sicarios, the Presidents and Colonel Carillo, Wagner Moura anchored it pretty well - giving us ample time and space lapping it up. Loved it when it comes to HOW - they round it up in the finale, beautiful.....
Well.....Season 2 - its just inconsistent. Netflix - you did good man....Narcos and Better Call Saul made my day better after Breaking Bad ( it's really tough choosing which TV Series i can rely on and make me happy )


Lets hope for a better season then shall we - the Cali Cartel is a huge monster. Make it explosive, make it violent, make me root for the bad guys even though they lose in the end.( Netflix scored gold with their excellent rendition and carefully curated list of showrunners here )

The Final Lesson by Syed Ahmad Jamal

Intro This is will be a long note - edited again thoroughly. Before i begin, this writing will touch on an individual goes by the name of  Syed Ahmad Jamal ( our National Laureate ) who passed away on 2011 and DBKL - stands for Kuala Lumpur Municipal Council. My heart dropped when Syed Ahmad Jamal public sculpture entitled Puncak Purnama ( Lunar Peaks, 1986 ) was destroyed by the local KL municipal council DBKL few days back. DBKL stands for Dewan Bandaraya Kuala Lumpur - actually is quite notorious for a list of bad PR moves by cutting off trees, blocking the Pertiwi Soup Kitchen ( which been feeding the homeless ), their zealous traffic summons - but seriously they broke the camel's back by destroying the modernist, geometrical - clean cut sculpture. The Battle of Non Permission This sculpture was highlighted in  2010 as "someone" decided to pimp it up, changing it's appearance without Syed Ahmad Jamal's permission.This is how it looks like......
