another issue about fashion designers is
1. do they know who is buying their stuffs?
2. the materials used in their clothing line - is it suitable with the weather?
3. are they standing on reality or their reality?
4. fine - they want to make a statement - but what sort of statement?
Fine it's ok that you dress up nicely / or at times loudly saying that you are in the creative line, but producing something, labeling/throwing up tantrum, blaming people not HIP enough when audience criticize your work? Now you have a problem man........
The fashion industry thrives in the european market and in the US, as their consumer market over there is huge plus they have 4 seasons to contend with - designing every god damn reason for people to shop.
But again - this is abomination, unbelievable, blasphemy. Gone are subtlety, taste and the sublime. Here is another outrageous examples of a "designer" interpretation on baju melayu.
I rest my case here.
