Batman V Superman
Zack Synder redeemed himself BIG TIME here, for the ones who
hated it - they must be the ones who didnt grow up reading any JLA issues or
their animated one-off series)....well.....I simply dig it.
I dont know why all the reviews for this film is bad.....i cant comprehend it.
anyway i couldnt be bothered
....most people will complaint it's too long
But it's beautiful - 2 awesome superheroes who loved and lost their parents.
The set pieces featured here - connects and complement. Supes here still struggling in finding his identity and his sense of belonging and most importantly is not aligned to the US govt here - its the matter of principle.
A powerful deadly combo when you have an Idealistic Powerful Hero who armed himself with principles of Truth and Justice. Same with the Punisher.
Luthor as usual - the methodical bastard frame him up. Loved how he place his piss in the court....wahahahahhah
As usual when someone who thinks he is doing a good job, there will be plenty of idiots will highlight the bad than the good one. This case is Superman, and as usual - people jumping the gun, doesnt check the facts ( listen and investigate both sides of story ) and yes blaming game.
supplant bodoh witness - give false assumptions - while the main objective is Supes go rescue Lois.
What i love here when Supes got tired dealing with idiots ( human being ), he clicked his heels to Smallville - back to his humble roots and look for his ground support which comes from Jonathan and Martha Kent ( his parents ). Jonathan's analogy is beautiful.
Just like Luke ran to the island in the Force Awakens ( i will do that when im disillusioned )
Luthor go for the low blow when he kidnapped Martha and asks Supes to go toe to toe with angry Bat.
( Batman pulak will do anything to save his parents )
Bat and Supes decided to stop their mano to mano wrestling match after Bat heard " save Martha "
Flash warned Batman - if he doesnt save Supes mum, we going to get a terrible alternate version ( the Injustice Supes - The Injustice Supes got pissed off when Joker tricked him to kill Lois and her unborn child ).

and Batman's 2 years of repressed idiotic vengeance evaporated......
Doomsday is bad ass here man......
Ben's Batman reminds me of Thomas Wayne, a pinch of Miller's The Dark Knight Returns and a slice of Year One Batman.
The no-nonsense fight choreography is brilliant (as Bale and Nolan's fighting style is stuffy and rigid ) and here we have a sporty sleek rugged Batmobile ( ala Arkham Knight ) unlike the bulky Tumbler.
Supes as usual is a joy to watch, the superspeed bitch - push.
Visuals featured in the film made me recollect all those seminal images that stuck in my head for years. Like these.......found in Supes coffin scene....taken from the legendary Superman No 75.
So DC, You have installed some faith in me. A huge one.
oh before i forgot - my only gripe is - Lois - you no need to fly ( waste Daily Planet's budget ) - interfere - by threwing the Kryptonite spear and go back to retrieve it ok.....( i know you love Supes ) but hey....cmon...
