Soft Power Konon

its hilarious when everyone jumped with joy as they see Trump swaying into the tune of Hawaii 5-0 everyone said its soft power at play. Hello....Trump coming ( vacationing ) flying here is simply a lip service to ensure the country gave more than it should even after we got slapped with 19% tariff. 

....and yes ending Thailand and Myanmar conflict with a phone call.

FB experts and media celebrating like crazy, calling his dance as a soft power achievement. Trillions of ringgit funded by the citizens given away in a new deal....

In politics (and particularly in international politics), soft power is the ability to co-opt rather than coerce (in contrast with hard power). It involves shaping the preferences of others through appeal and attraction. Soft power is non-coercive, using culture, political values, and foreign policies to enact change. In 2012, Joseph Nye of Harvard University explained that with soft power, "the best propaganda is not propaganda", further explaining that during the Information Age, "credibility is the scarcest resource".

Let see how China build and developed its own soft power....



honestly here we are so hard on with the word soft as we like to be keras all night long.....the word lembut is a taboo.....

The Final Lesson by Syed Ahmad Jamal

Intro This is will be a long note - edited again thoroughly. Before i begin, this writing will touch on an individual goes by the name of  Syed Ahmad Jamal ( our National Laureate ) who passed away on 2011 and DBKL - stands for Kuala Lumpur Municipal Council. My heart dropped when Syed Ahmad Jamal public sculpture entitled Puncak Purnama ( Lunar Peaks, 1986 ) was destroyed by the local KL municipal council DBKL few days back. DBKL stands for Dewan Bandaraya Kuala Lumpur - actually is quite notorious for a list of bad PR moves by cutting off trees, blocking the Pertiwi Soup Kitchen ( which been feeding the homeless ), their zealous traffic summons - but seriously they broke the camel's back by destroying the modernist, geometrical - clean cut sculpture. The Battle of Non Permission This sculpture was highlighted in  2010 as "someone" decided to pimp it up, changing it's appearance without Syed Ahmad Jamal's permission.This is how it looks like.........

The Eaglemoss Delorean ( Remarks )

finally got my hands on 130 issues of the infamous Eaglemoss Delorean. Apparently all the rumors and ( not ) so positive remarks for this 1/8 scale model is so true . Not for the faint hearted, this model seriously testing my limits firstly with their multiple tiny ( AP/DM/IP and whatever) screws and their ridiculous building technique.  Eaglemoss rounded up all those sick, selfish, not so ergonomic, Autocad, product designers to create one living hell for the builders. With mismatched parts and building instructions in their packaging, they created an unusual hell and sleepless nights for the subscribers. Imagine not knowing they going to fold halfway. journey begin with a broken steering rack. I have to scout the replacement for weeks 10 issues of building the engine and we have to store it away... oh the many joy of missing pieces not to forget, missing several issues resulting in leaving me and the builders high and dry for months.
