Evil Jar Jar

funny seeing one of the most hated characters created by George Lucas now embraced by new generation of fans. Started out as a comic relief turned to a bloody Senator in Episode 3, Jar-Jar now is a Sith Lord. 

(Jar jar always reminds me of many of my local politicians, who failed in their SPM and elected to a Senator)

As i quit collecting Star Wars for years, casually stalks in the local fan Star Wars group, i ended up some digging. Apparently, goodness, we have a SDCC special of Jar-Jar in the carbonite ( as usual, you need to sell your kidney to get this )


 

knowing this, Lego ( who got the Star Wars license ) will release a Darth Jar-Jar and Evil C3P0.

 

George Lucas realized this and placed the innocent Jar Jar into the background in Episode 2 and 3. Anyway how Jar-Jar from a bumbling Gungan turned into a bloody sith? 

The Darth Jar Jar theory 

the theory addresses how a figure like Binks could serve evil ends. The new theory provides course correction, not only in the name of plausibility, but to move the character closer to what he was intended to be: a simple but benevolent creature whom Palpatine exploited like he did the rest of the galaxy.

come to think about this, all of us are like Jar-Jar too, simple minded fans, enamored, taken away with a simple great escapist story set in a galaxy far-far away, all of us are mind tricked into buying Lucas's massive merchandising, enable him to fund his film without any major studio involvement. 

I believe few fans started to question their existence and realized that they are exploited ( for years ) after Disney bought and successfully screwed the whole franchise.

The Final Lesson by Syed Ahmad Jamal

Intro This is will be a long note - edited again thoroughly. Before i begin, this writing will touch on an individual goes by the name of  Syed Ahmad Jamal ( our National Laureate ) who passed away on 2011 and DBKL - stands for Kuala Lumpur Municipal Council. My heart dropped when Syed Ahmad Jamal public sculpture entitled Puncak Purnama ( Lunar Peaks, 1986 ) was destroyed by the local KL municipal council DBKL few days back. DBKL stands for Dewan Bandaraya Kuala Lumpur - actually is quite notorious for a list of bad PR moves by cutting off trees, blocking the Pertiwi Soup Kitchen ( which been feeding the homeless ), their zealous traffic summons - but seriously they broke the camel's back by destroying the modernist, geometrical - clean cut sculpture. The Battle of Non Permission This sculpture was highlighted in  2010 as "someone" decided to pimp it up, changing it's appearance without Syed Ahmad Jamal's permission.This is how it looks like......
