Seeking Experience
one of many things i love is - Changes will happen, takes place if you like it or not.I met many individuals who sounds and even look old when you talk to them. Getting old is when you resist change and positioning yourself in a comfortable location till you rot to hell.
When you seek new adventures, the universe will path strange new roads to you. You keep on seeking and seeking. New people, new environment made you alert, sharper and eventually learn how to adapt yourself to it.
This is why i dig Gordon Ramsay, the explosive, loud mouth, temperamental chef who keep on improving himself. From Hell's Kitchen to unspeakable unimaginable hotels, his career trajectory offered him unlimited challenges and experience.
I was dumbfounded when i found out Anthony Bourdain killed himself in a Paris hotel room, Gordon shifted to multiple new directions and offered us amazing new materials. I was hooked and binged all his youtube videos and earned my fucking respect seeing him pitting skills with local housewifes, adapt himself to various skills in whole new environment, constantly learning, filled with humility pounding rice in a deep forest in Cambodia - nudged himself unto identifying new recipes.
I love seeing the cooks who will winced when Gordon methodically deconstruct their award winning formula recipes. Goodness see how he jumped like he won the World Cup after he got second place in a cooking competition. Fuck me - cook curry with all the local housewives in India.
Not an easy feat.
