Is this a Joke?
i have to confess, at times i always avoid or didnt attend any art exhibition. Truth to be told and honestly, everything is subjective. Everyone have their own taste - i cant and dont want to argue about this.
But in the social media, where illogical concepts ruled the day, we virtually surrounded by unbelievable amateur acrobats, not so funny clowns as everyone likes to pretend, behave or to be whatever they are not.
You simply have to retreat unto a corner and start asking "who is the real crazy here" People who studied, practiced their craft for years and years to be good at what they are doing is now taken over - literally replaced by idiots who posted shit, amateurish effort - the public simply dont want to be awed anymore, they want a sense of familiarity, they want something they can relate to.
That is why when someone who works in a corporate, decided to be an artist in instagram, posted simplistic brainless doodles mistakenly named as ART - followed by likes by their aunties, grand aunties and oh so skewed favoritism comments, we know that we are heading to hell.
I was blown away to bits marveling at Michaelangelo's 4 years worth of effort David, before he released couple mind blowing insanity such as The Pieta, made me question and didnt draw anything for next 12 months. I want this feeling back. I crave for it. I want someone who can blow me away just like how Monet losing his eyesight, finishing his poetic waterlilies.
Not amateurish crap ok. So imagine you attend an exhibit - artist displaying this ( below ) in the exhibit - you simply need to run away ( somewhere ) fast and laugh as hard as possible.
