Joker

made out from $62 million, the first R rated film to gross 1 billion worldwide. Now - lets swipe off the god awful cartoonish Jared Leto, Joqquin Pheonix did the right move by avoiding to be Dr Strange, signed in for this movie. Joker is like a remixed Martin Scorcese's 1983 The Kind of Comedy, where Deniro played Rupert Pupkin - a struggling comedian, also stayed with his mother and yes delusional.   Clocking in for 2 hours, we have Arthur -  diagnosed with depression trying to find a tune in the depressed slum by getting to be a clown as a gig, living with his mother and have his daily Murray Franklin before signing off. Nobody looks at him, acknowledged Arthur's existence - before he gun down 3 " white collared, educated, office losers". From being invisible, Arthur burned his past - turned to be a symbol of resistance against the rich and wealthy and gave the world his first joke - the late night show host. Then we see him in the asylum, blood staine...

Sigh......

there is a solid reason why i said "sorry" is a cheap word - recyclable and most importantly lame as shit. We have an owner of a local bridal shop went for a photoshoot in a Christian cemetery to promote her new bridal wear. So it went viral of course. reason - she had picked the cemetery because she wanted her photos to "look unique", taking "inspirations" from photos taken by Western photographers. lets see how inspired the photos turn out to be.   and all of sudden, all couples went to her shop - inspired i was laughing non stop - back in the early 90's - where we dont have Instagram and all related social media nonsense, we have local death metal bands have themselves pose for a photo shoot in a Dutch cemetery in Malacca. Death Metal - Cemetery and Morbidity goes hand in hand ok - nor argument - im a big fan of Deicide. Not in marriage - or i guess the bridal owner took the meaning "till death do us apart"...

The Invisible Truth

a big house, cars, collections of paintings and anything that is associated with material wealth never last long. These materials which their value is simply fabricated. Time goes on you need bigger ones, faster ones and what not. Its way too bad that a Lambo or your 3000 sq ft serviced apartment cant fit unto a coffin except your motionless body. so what we going to leave behind? Possessions of  materials, printed papers called money? Books? Does our belongings, collections or whatsoever going to benefit others? To be used? To be shared? Come, lets evaluate on the things, actions, words we uttered, did and act upon. Does this deed worthy for us to carry us when we kick the bucket? Come - let us find worthy immaterial deeds we did shall we - prayers, good intentions, good actions, selfless acts and so on. The things that no money can buy except to earn it.
