when i took my M.A, my supervising lecturer always reminding me to make sure my research objective is clear. We simply cannot hypothetically create nonsense. The more nonsense it become, we can kiss and bury our research away.

now what the fuck is a hypothesis?

a supposition or proposed explanation made on the basis of limited evidence as a starting point for further investigation.

 

and

 

a proposition made as a basis for reasoning, without any assumption of its truth.

 

any assumptions is a basis of all fuck-ups. As a former academic, everything must have a basis, you dont create any allegations. 

 

Now what is an allegation?

a claim or assertion that someone has done something illegal or wrong, typically one made without proof.

 

what is an example of an allegation?

 

lo and behold, as the media like to report nonsensical stuffs to generate attention from the public - we have a lecturer Dr Zhari Ismail from the USM School of Pharmaceutical Science said that he obtained the information from the industry insiders who told him that they have used pork fat in the process of printing the national currency banknotes.

so is the information is the proof or simply as an information?

"There is the use of pork fat in paper money-making. This requires formal news reporting on this matter, so if this is an allegation, we need to confirm that the allegation is true or not," Dr Zhari Ismail was quoted as saying by MalaysiaGazette.

The USM lecturer added that when he asked people involved in printing paper money, they confirmed with him that pork fat is used in the process.

 

Now which is which? we have an allegation and a confirmation.
