The Comedic Charm
who wants to be in the cinema and went out puffing and huffing ( feeling dissatisfied ) after spending all those hard earned money on parking ticket, meals, cinema popcorn and ticket......The public knows what they want. Mamat Khalid pulled out one of those rare polished gem in the form of Hantu Kak Limah.
The film is a polished gem after the director learned what does well and what doesnt.
Mamat Khalid subtly poke himself too and the public in the dialogue, what is lovely is - he is not pretentious and trying to be arty oh so farty. And that is an important aspect to serve a entertainment meal to the masses.
Clearly i can see the talents having so much fun and most importantly - by not taking themselves too seriously works, the banter and the chemistry shown clearly. The Unpredictable set pieces managed to keep me engaged and mind you - its not easy to pull this off. Kudos to the team for breaking the box office and made the public( including me ) laughed so hard.
We need more of this.
