The Importance of Storyboarding : Never Forget
It's amazing to hear that certain directors shoot without a proper script, worst is they dont know how to call their shots. These sort of decisions will waste the production crew's time, resources and yes of course - money.
The word pre-production is vital, at least spend some time on developing your shots based on the script, if you cant draw, then ask the producers put aside an amount to hire one or if you are too cheapskate - just use the stick man.....
Most of the time, the "director" will say " oh....i know how to place the shots when i'm in the location"...fuh berlagak..........i got few cases when the storyboard is done, all the shots is composed opposite.....anyway i am tired on dealing with these sort of people.
