Hoya - A Short Story.

Most film students will struggle in the areas of writing a script. Visualization and writing is two different areas. When your script is lengthy, epic ( grander than Lord of the Rings), they will run unto a huge problem when they step unto production, resulting into a messy product.

Most of the time - i will advise them to keep it minimal, simplistic, but bear in mind simplicity takes alot.

Here's an example - keep your story short, simple and engaging. Secondly - audience is intelligent. Never - ever under-estimate them.

EXT/Day

One Minister visited an tribal village.

As what Minister will do - he will give bullshit speech.

After he finished with his usual bullshits - the villagers gave a rousing cry

" Hoya - Hoya"

Encouraged with this, Minister said " a new road to your village"

"HOYA-HOYA"

Tears running down minister's cheeks, he ended his speech with " we come to you as Equals - we are brothers!!"

Long mighty cry of " HOYA" followed.

Minister went to a tour, saw an impressive breeds of cattle.

He said " wow - can i inspect them closer?"

village chief said "be careful not to step in the hoya"
