Student - Teacher
below are photos - amplifying reasons why i still do "guest" lecturing. You get amazing surprises after spending time with them for 14 weeks. Dali's Persistence of Memory visuals suggest fluidity, the boundaries between time and space dissapear, melted.
So in my art history lectures, they are encouraged to play with these iconic paintings, re-imagined them to a current context, it needs to be playful and at the same time, the remix will produce a different perspective. So a group showed me their idea, placed this directly to a real REAL physical clock.
Osem giler!!!!! Choose your reality.
A group decided to have cats lounging in Dali subconscious landscape.
freaking adorable, note the landscape color schematics, mixtures - its deadly accurate. Brilliant. Seriously these guys have tremendous talents to do art forgery.
Here we have a group decided to have a kawai cat/bear in a cubist treatment in the style of Picasso and Cezanne.
Few decided to go different approach, beyond the frame
and yes of course, Kamen Rider made his appearance again - stucked in the fashionably hip 19th century this time reflecting why his heroic acts can go wrong too......
and this is from last semester, derived/remixed from Delacroix's Liberty Leading The People.
Cool right?!!!! Few works now under my collection, this batch is pretty quiet compared to others, they blow me away with their tremendous effort as every inch of their work, strokes is filled with dedication, at times questions doubting their abilities, love and an inch of "fuck it - lets do this!!". They are winners in their own bloody right.

Ending this note with a brilliant remix of my fav track by the legendary Bob Marley, seriously i dont know what these mixers, sound producers smoked - i need to try it.
